The AXA PPP Retirement Association sends a birthday card to their members each year. I was approached to produce an illustration because they liked the linocut style I work in.
They wanted the illustrations to depicted the buildings in Tunbridge Wells and Eastbourne where their members used to work. The illustrations use four different carved images to create the final composition. Each colour overlays the other transparently so overlapping colours produce other colours.
