I have worked with the Clued-up charity in Crowborough for a couple of years. Initially, I was asked to produce a new website. That lead to designing their marketing material, developing a strong visual style that runs through everything they produce.
While talking to various people in Crowborough, very few knew of the charity despite them having a shop on the high street. I suggested some much stronger graphics in the windows would help to make them more visible. The shop is next door to a bank and looked as though it was part of the same frontage. It had the added problem of a huge pillar in the middle of the window that made the window on the right of it look like it belonged to the shop next door.
I produced a design the used big colourful graphics. They span the windows and a sign on the pillar ties the whole shopfront together. The shop front continues the style seen on the website and the literature and display material inside the shop.
