Ashdown Forest is one of the largest areas of open countryside in the South East of England. It is one of the very few remaining areas of extensive lowland heath left in Europe. The Forest is at the heart of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Founded in 1961, Friends of Ashdown Forest is an independent charity whose support has enabled the Conservators to buy back parcels of land to add back into the Forest.
I designed this new website to detail the charities purpose and activities. It has a feature to enable people to join them and is illustrated with images of the beautiful views, flora and fauna.
