Clued Up is an information shop in Crowborough. It caters for young people between the ages of 11 and 25 and supplies information, advice and support. Its services are free and confidential.
I was recommended to Clued Up by one of their volunteers. I had previously worked with them on the website and marketing material for the Crowborough Community Festival.
The brief was to produce a website that was bright and vibrant. Critically the design had to be for tablets and smartphones, the devices their audience are most likely to be using.
The site is built on WordPress, a content management system. Clued Up can edit the pages themselves. The site will make use of the blog that is also a part of WordPress.
On this site, the blog is a convenient way to add notices to the Noticeboard page. Blog posts are very easy to produce. They do not require formatting, only the inputting of text. A post added to the blog is set to automatically display in the appropriate place on the site. The notices are easily shared to social media platforms.
